No! We offer many different family-fun activities other than Axe Throwing. We have 6 pool tables, 6 cornhole courts, a few arcade games and a bar on the axe throwing side & a skating rink with a full arcade & concessions next door.

We are located at 280 N. Talbert BLVD in Lexington NC. The main entrance to Axehole Axe Throwing is on the front of the building, whereas the main entrance to Friction Skating Rink is on the side of the building, up the ramp leading to a single door.

The cost is $25+tax/pp for the 1-hour range reservation and you pay when you make the reservation online. Normal reservations are fully refundable up until 24 hours before. We also offer a Heroes Discount for all Military and First Responders, with valid ID.

Ages 8 and up as long as they have the strength and coordination to effectively throw a hatchet as judged by our Axeperts. All children must be under the immediate control of an adult! Officially, there must be one adult per three kids aged 8-14; kids 15-17 just need one adult per range. Everyone who intends to throw at Axehole must complete our Accident & Release of Liability Waiver.

We only have two requirements:

*Closed-toe shoes is a must! (no high heels even if they are closed-toe) *A shirt which gives you full range of motion

We welcome walk-ins! There may not be availability to throw axes during super busy times, but you can book for a later time and have a drink, shoot some pool or throw cornhole while you wait. To guarantee availability, definitely reserve your Axe-perience online! When we do have walk-in space, the range times only start at fixed times, so you may not be able to walk in and start throwing right away - you'll have to wait until the next available start time. In short, Yes & no! We do not have a kitchen or serve food, so we do allow outside catering but for Private Parties & Events only. We do not allow any outside alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic drinks. We have 20oz. bottled Pepsi products available as well as a few snacks to choose from.

No BYOB is allowed ever, as we do have a bar on site.

Each range has an Axepert that not only teaches the rules, but coaches you on how to throw! They also get you started with some fun competitive games!

Tipping is never required but always appreciated! Our Axeperts will do their best to make your axe-perience fun and exciting. It is nice to show them some love!
